2008 Summertime Calendar
Camp & Workshop Registrations begin June 10, 2008. Work exchanges available.
Options include day only, evening only or full weekend registrations. Open Air dancing under the Big Tent and overnight camping in the pastoral open land of this hilltop farm. Meal and camping options are offered to accommodate your preferences. A limited number of bunks are available for registered guests in the Farmhouse. Dances are open to the public.
June 22nd — Kitchen Junket & BBQ at the Farmhouse
Bring your instruments and voices & join us for a summer evening following the Vermont History Expo. The Expo is at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds, but visitors are invited to tour the barn between 3-5pm. A BBQ picnic will be offered ($10 or potluck) at the Farmhouse to guests and musicians — so come join us to play or visit or both!
CAMP WEEKENDS & OPEN DANCES
Registrations begin June 1, 2008
New Acadia's Open Air dancing under the Big Tent and overnight camping in the pastoral open land of our hilltop farm. Contras, squares, couples and dance, instruction Friday thru Sunday. Camper initiated activities. Meals, pricing and schedule options to accommodate your preferences. Dances are open to the public. Info & Registration at (802) 889-3246 or on-line.
August 15-18, 2008 — 6th Annual Traditional Music & Dance Camp
Featuring The Clayfoot Strutters with Rachael Neavitt
Contras, squares, couples and dance, instruction Friday thru Sunday. Camper initiated activities with a relaxed yet dynamic schedule — great for families! Check the website for schedule updates.
August 16: — Open Contradance with The Clayfoot Strutters & Rachael Neavitt 8-11pm. $15.00 (included with camp registration).
August 29 & 30: Cultural Heritage Music & Dance Weekend
Honoring the French cultural contribution to New England
Featuring NIGHTINGALE with Steve Zakon-Anderson & Tidal Wave

August 30th — House Concert & Jam with TIDAL WAVE
11am-1pm: "Uniquely French" with JEREMIAH McLANE
2-5pm: Qubequois Band Intensive with TIDAL WAVE
7-11pm: TIDAL WAVE Concert & Informal Jam (bring instruments)
August 31st — New World Festival in Randolph, VT (Noon to midnight)
